In Social Studies this past week, we were lucky to have some Acadian artifacts from the Royal Alberta Museum in our classroom. Our class learned about many interesting aspects of Acadian culture, and were able to explore a variety of items including wooden spoons, a jaw harp, hand-crafted wooden games, and some special Acadian folk art such as the rug and quilt.
