We’ve been doing some critical thinking in Social Studies recently as we’ve been considering criteria for the very best words to describe our three Canadian communities. Our special guest Jess has been deciding which location she’d like to vacation this summer, and so we were giving her succinct information about Iqaluit, Saskatoon, and Meteghan. We decided that words needed to be specific to the community, interesting, and important to that place. With all the recent excitement of Christmas at Millgrove, we’ve also been discussing what Christmas is like across Canada. Take a look at what words we’ve come up with so far!
