Parents and students, please send in your food as soon as possible. We will total the food and have an assembly at 2:40 pm on Friday afternoon to see if we met the challenge. The food will be delivered Friday after school so the food bank can fill its shelves in time for Thanksgiving. All schools in PSD have been given this challenge. Let’s show Millgrove Pride and rise to the challenge!
We are working on an exciting and important challenge in 2B this week! Each month Millgrove School highlights a theme in our Caring and Values Education (C.A.V.E.) program. This month, our theme is Empathy and Compassion. The local food bank is low on food, and our school has taken on a challenge to do "Pound Away Hunger." This means we want to collect one pound of non-perishable food for each student who attends Millgrove… that is 415 pounds of food! In 2B, we will work toward collecting 19 pounds of food for our class of 19.
