This month in Language Arts we'll be working on a research project on animals to tie in with our Animal Life Cycles unit in Science. Each student has selected an animal to research, and we'll be finding information about different subtopics about those animals such as their diet, appearance, and adaptations. So far the students have worked on the beginning stages of the research process such as sequencing sources and searching for subtopics, along with synthesizing information from across texts. There's lots of talk about wolves, koalas, pandas, and various other species in our classroom these days! |
